I've tried the suction cup style window cat beds in the past with poor luck so I was happy to have found an alternative that seemed like it would work. I'm happy to say it did, with a few caveats. First, putting together the bed was as simple as handing it to my husband and saying "this is your job", kidding aside, he had it put together in less than 10 min! It's good looking and sits nicely in our window sil.
It was easy to assemble and it you put it properly on the window its very sturdy and holds your cat weight perfectly. My cat loves it so far and got on it since I installed it.
My cat loves it. He sleeps on it. Loafs on it. Plays on it. It's one of his favorite spots in the house.
We have very narrow window sills and my boys needed someway to look outside. I was nervous about whether it would hold up to their jumping all over them. I found It's really sturdy and handles all their 7 month old energy. I even purchased another one so they could each have their own, but most of the time you find them both curled up on the same one. They both weigh over 7 lbs each so if you have a larger cat it will work great for you too. Definitely safer than those ones with the suction cups.
