it does its job. Also, it provides an additional benefit of saving my knees when cleaning the litter box.
On a positive note, the mat does do its job. Very easy to clean, and happens to complementthe color of the litter box.
Just got it and is using it for our netherland dwarf rabbit. We put the wee wee pad inside and she goes to the bathroom on it. Had to get this for her playpen because she kept ripping and scratching up her pad when we put it down. So far so great!!
I was so sick of both my cat and I tracking litter all over the house (me from walking near the litter box). Some of the rubber mats I bought worked fine but my cat often wanted to pee on them. This one works great. Super easy to empty out/hose off. Cleaning is just really easy and you dont have to leave it out long to dry.
This was just what I was looking for. The cats love it (perhaps too much), one kitten managed to slip in between the layers to hang out, so no worries about them not wanting to walk on it. I was also worried that it would be hard on my feet, but not at all. Last but not least, many reviews of similar products complained about it not laying flat. This took about 5 days to flatten out. I would recommend this mat.
