Smart Cat Feeder

I really like this feeder it keeps unwanted bugs away and also keeps the dry and wet food fresher. It opens only when kitty is close. It took about 2 days for my cat to het comfortable with. The flap opens slowly. We started with the training mode but she picked it up pretty quickly. It is easy to clean. I bought an extra inside bowl with a divider for wet and dry food. It is battery operated it would be nice if they had a plug option as well. Overall very happy with product. Best is to leave some space between wall for pet to access both sensors on the side and to avoid malfunction.

My cat is 16 and just diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and he's never eaten wet food before and wow, is it stinky. Because he's sick, he eats very little at a time. I was looking for a solution to cover the food between bites and this looked like a perfect solution. I didn't need to switch on the "training mode" as he's not afraid of anything. It's quiet, stylish, and sleek, fits in with my kitchen (LOL). I keep it up high on the bar so it's away from the dog and other foot traffic. Honestly, i was relaxing on the couch in the next room and all of a sudden I smelled his food – he was eating! I love this!! Highly recommend it.

I was surprised by how high quality this feeder is. It has a good weight to it, and doesn't feel flimsy or cheap at all. The lid opens smoothly and quietly. All of my cats had it figured out within 15 minutes. Best of all, it comes with a REAL, multi-page, instruction manual, not a quick-start sheet that most products come with these days. I initially had my doubts about how well this feeder would work when I first placed the order, but now that I have the actual product in my hands, I couldn't be happier!

My cat will actually let me sleep now. I have a 19 years old cat that was throwing up a lot and super picky about her food and will throw up if she over eats. Will only eat fresh food. This thing is a life saver. Took her a little bit to learn it using the training. Occasionally during training, the door didn’t open correctly. But within a week or 2 , she got it. Very easy to clean. Got a 2nd bowl with a divider. Very easy to clean.

We had to switch our cats to wet food due to kidney issues. However, it was a challenge to get them to eat the food after it had been sitting out for a while, causing us to waste a lot of food. We were also having a horrible problem with fruit flies, no matter what we did. After purchasing this, food is rarely wasted (except for the occasional overnight food because one of my cats is a prissy pants) and I have hardly seen a fruit fly. It was worth every penny. The only con is that if both cats try to eat out of it at the same time, it confuses the sensors and will close while they are eating and then open back up. I don't see this as a problem because it annoys them to the point where they will leave and come back individually, keeping them from over-eating all in one sitting. And it creates laughs for the SO and me.
